Worship "Nanami" the Goddess

Long time ago, the town had high temperature in the summer until fishes couldn't swim high enough and the villages couldn't catch the fishes. They ran to a shrine asking for Nanami's wish. The next day, one village came to catch a fish, he saw a beautiful woman dance on the river, he couldn't believe of what he saw, he ran to tell his friends this story and let them see with their own eyes. After they arrived, that woman was gone. The villagers found only Angel fish, white body, gold skin rose to the bait. Amazingly at this moment, temperature of the river and environment becomes colder than usual, fishes start to swim higher and the villagers symbolize Angel fish as a sacred fish.

• Summer arrives, Fishing Town citizens are obsessed with catching Angel fish and take it to worship the Goddess Nanami to be lucky in fishing game.

Firefly seeing season

During the summer, the night gets dark: it will be the time villagers will gather and see firefly flying all around the sky reflecting yellow in a Sokonashi lake and the dark sky. Groups of Honest fish show up, they have bambi eyes as the myth says one couple who shared the passionate love for each other but the parents of a woman didn't let her marry a man, she was desperate and didn't want to marry anyone else. A couple planned to meet at the lake to sail away but couldn't do it in time, parents followed and harmed them. A woman killed herself by jumping in the lake and next, her lover. A woman was reborn as a firefly and her lover was reborn as Honest fish, they will meet here every year in summer.

• The night gets dark, thousands of firefly fly out and shine all over the sky. Along in the lake fishes swim with the fireflies and the promise of love couple. A woman and a man will meet each other annually.
