A frisky child runs around in the storage room and find the large pile of stuffs at the bottom of the room. He takes a closer look because of his curiosity and sees a bright green box. The oldish style of alphabets say "The Grand Monster Fisherman," he opens the box and finds a strange fishing rod: it look asymmetrical. He has no idea why his father keeps this fishing rod for a very long time.

He carries asymmetrical fishing rod and curiosity to ask his father. His father is a strong, middle-aged man who has scars all over the body. No matter how many times the kid tries to ask, his father never says anything at all just these phrases...

"One day if you grow up and Goddess Nanami leads you, I'll explain everything."

After the father sees his son carries this fishing rod, he thinks it's time for him to know it all...

This fishing rod is legendary even though it looks different from the normal fishing rods. Only allowed people can touch the rod, it's built from various equipment and difficult design.

Someone can only accomplish the dream of fisherman. The word written on the box "The Grand Master Fisherman" is the most difficult-to-beat breed of fish. Only small group of expertise can overcome the true monster of the river in Mikishi Town. His father is one of the small group of expertise.

His father still takes this challenge until nowadays. No matter how long the clock is ticking, the old Grand Master fisherman or the recent Grand Master fisherman cannot accomplish the mission to catch this monster. Some people they don't believe because they haven't seen it, but his father sees it with his own eyes many times and it is real. He puts the effort for the whole life to overcome this monster hoping everyone will believe it is real.

Although the kid is puzzle with the stories he told, he still believes in his father because of the scars. No man can beat that monster fish even his father is trying to push it all up to the ground, it still has the energy to drag him savagely and remains free from the hook leaving his father many wounds.

Although he couldn't completely catch the fish, he sees its black glowing skin with the red light that almost makes him blind. He believes there must be a soul in it. That was the first and last time he sees the monster.

The kid has been inspired by his father to conquer "The Grand Master Fisherman" podium of Mikishi Town for his father and every fisherman in this world. He plans to catch this fish when he grows up.

After that day the kid requests his father to teach him how to master in fishing. Everyday he goes to the river and practices what his father has taught him. Full of believe and confidence, he heads to Mikishi Town, the biggest Fishing Town of the world, to make the dream come true. Let's the adventure begins right now...
